Eighteen people bitten by rabid dogs and one man died with hydrophobia

Strangely, lot of dogs infected with hydrophobia in Three Pagoda Town, 18 peoples included children bitten by these dogs and one man died with hydrophobia.

 

Thur Pu, 21 year olds from Kya-inn-seikyi Township who was working in Three Pagoda, died on yesterday morning with hydrophobia after suffering bitten three days ago according to his friends.

 

He died because he has no family and lack of money to have treatment after bitten by dog on the leg and chest according to his friends. There are more children bitten according to sourced closed to Three Pagoda Authorities.

 

 Six years old young girl, Daw Shan Ma’s daughter, bitted seriously yesterday. The child was bitten on the mouth and three parts on her body. “The young girl lip was split with two parts.

 

According to her family, the dog owner only paid 500 Baht for compensation to her family. However, the girl family unsatisfied on paying amount of that because of high payment for treatment, and they complained to the Burmese military authority.

 

At least 5 times have to take for hypodermic for protection of hydrophobia who is suffering after bitten by the rabid dog. The people have to pay 500 Baht for having a hypodermic.

 

Many people in Three Pagoda Pass feared about rabid dogs, they have been worried for their children on the way of going to school and home.

 

Nai Lyi, a student father said, “school teachers are tightly made security for protecting the rabid dog at the school and they closed all the school doors after 9:00 AM.”

 

To clean out the stray dog and rabid dog, U Lwin Htay, who is a member of Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA) and Three Pagoda municipal members cooperated and threw the poisoned beet on the road.

 

USDA and municipal hired two men from each quarter to clean the dead dogs with 400 Bath payments for a person.

 

More than a hundred of dogs died in two day of cleaning according to sourced closed to U Lwin Htay and dog cleaner.

 

According to the town residents, it is the first time that needed to clean the stray dog and rabid dog in Three Pagoda.
