Yes - more attacks on minorities, more oppression, more tricks and lies.
I don't even want to begin discussion what SLORC have done to the
Rohingyas on the Burma/B'desh border. That's another acouple thousands
bytes of bandwidth.

Not only that, the president chosen must have some military background.

No - "not may be", it IS divide-and-conquer! SLORC refused to talk
to the minorities as a whole, the DAB. Kachins up north were the
first group to talk to SLORC. Wa and Pa-O are not happy with the uneasy 
ceased-fire either. They have not receive what SLORC had promised,
like roads, hospital, etc...Talk with Karen has came to a halt and as
dealing with Mon is concern, SLORC had attacked one of Mon refugee camp
just last month.

Burmese who left after 1988, of those whom I have talked with, said
Aung San Suu Kyi looks much thinner than before her house arrest and
she was already a thin person to begin with. Some are worry.
