Forum Backs Construtive Engagement With Myanmar

What "history" does Thai Deputy Premier Amnuay Virawan quote to support his
constructive engagement with SLORC.  The clearer motives seem to be the
opportunity to profit by the extraction of the rich resources of Myanmar
without having to contend with the opposition of the local, indigenous
population.  SLORC will do the bullyingand get paid for it; ASEAN members
will profit.  People are not so stupid that they cannot see through the
ASEAN members.  Just have a look at the corruption in their own countries.

The people of Myanmar have made clear their desire for an embargo until
SLORC  hands over to the democratic processes. SLORC does not represent the
people of Myanmar.   ASEAN chooses to collaborate with liars and murderers:
SLORC!

To ASEAN I say this: May your conscience be with you for the many lifetimes
you will have to endure!  And your progeny inherit the debt!
