Burmese in the US?



U Tun Myint is right in his comments on the public or private access to the
kind of information you ask, Lisa.  Perhaps it requires the experience of
living under regimes like SLORC to appreciate the alertness it requires to
survive.

When you ask for such sensitive information you must first declare,
congruently, what you intend to do with it.  You must also understand that
you are asking people to put themselves (or their relatives in Burma) at
risk.  Good on you for trying though and don't let the touch of sarcasm
deter you; there is a lot of pain and anger around.  And keep up the good
work.
