SLORC INTIMIDATES NLD MPs NOT TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE

SLORC threatens NLD MPs to prevent attending  the scheduled Conference at
the end of May. The Conference is organized by the NLD to mark their
landslide victory at the general elections in May, 1990. Many of the NLD
MPs who represent remote cities are told by the Military Intelligence
probes that they must not travel to any place during this period.
