Subject: Happy Holidays from the Massachusetts Burma Roundtable

Dear Friends of Burma:
I just wanted to express my personal thanks to everyone around the world who
provided so much assistance to the Massachusetts Burma Roundtable over the
past year.
Together, we achieved an unprecedented success in Massachusetts this year
with the enactment of the first state-wide Burma selective purchasing law.
The letters that Governor Weld received, faxed from all over the world,
clearly made an important contribution to his signing of the bill into law.
Each of you helped make the difference.
I hope that we in Massachusetts can render similar assistance over the next
year to all of you who helped us.
I hope that soon we will be able to meet in Rangoon in Free Burma.
