MILITARY MEET AFP 9/3


     MILITARY MEET: Indian army chief General Shankar Roychowdhury
     met Myanmar Prime Minister and Defence Minister Than Shwe in Yangon on
Friday. 

     Other leading Myanmar military officials including powerful national
intelligence chief
     Lieutenant-General Khin Nyunt, the junta's second secretary-general
     Lieutenant-General Tin Oo and the heads of the army, navy and air force
attended the
     meeting. No details were available. -- AFP.
