Subject: Aung San Suu Kyi Assassination Alert: Action Call
Dear Fellow Freedom Fighters:
Many of our student spiders are going to be real busy as the
semester/quarter draws to a close. And we won't ask too much of your time
and energies for the Free Burma campaign.
However, in light of the renewed threat by SLORC to crush democracy movement
and its leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the Free Burma Coalition would like to
declare the months of May and June "Assassination Awareness Months" and
request a few phone calls or emails from each and everyone of you to help
prevent the possible assassination of AungSan Suu Kyi by SLORC thugs.
Suggested Actions:
1) alert your local media and congressional representatives of this
dangerous development.
2) email, call, or write to the SLORC embassies in your country of residence
(please see the list of contact fax numbers for SLORC Embassies below), in
order to show that you are concerned about the well-being of Daw Aung San
Suu Kyi and other members of the democracy movement,

The news broadcast into Burma is a source of strength that has helped
sustain the hope of 45 million prisoners held hostage at gun point by SLORC.
SLORC is a group of neo-Nazi generals that rules Burma with financial
support from drug warlords and multinational corporations such as Unocal,
ARCO, Texaco, Total, Mitsubishi, Caterpiller, as well as political
endorsement by ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) governments.
Thank you.
peace, love, and hope,
