· Mr. Somchai Homloar, Union for Civil Liberties.


Our panel with address and debate the issues raised by Thailand?s trade
relations with Burma, in the context of progress towards and transition to a
democratic political structure, as well as setting out some of the ethical
issues raised by Thai?s doing business in Burma. Both macro and micro
aspects of the issue will be debated, while the perspectives of both the
Thai business community and the exiled Burmese community will be represented.

* Please note that proceedings will take place in Thai, but simultaneous
English translations will be provided for non-Thai speakers.
