LET'S FIND WAYS TO EMPOWER THE PEOP

Dear all, 
            People's participation is a most important factor to change 
a situation.  How can people get more involved in a change?  When they 
realize problems, when they cogitate solution and when they deeply think 
how to approach to get to the solution, PEOPLE WILL CERTAINLY GET 
INVOLVED MORE IN SOLVING THEIR PROBLEMS.  How can we all attempt to make 
all people from Burma get involved more in their problems?
            EMPOWERMENT to the people is necessity to start the attempt.  
How can we empower them?  Though SLORC imposes many restrictions, it 
can't make the people to stop talking.  Yeah! SLORC will never be able 
to do so.  Discussion is a very good way to empower the people.  Let 
them think what the problems are, what the solutions are, how they can 
get to the solutions, by which ways they think the best, and what they 
can do in order to reach the goal.  We don't teach them but we should 
encourage them to think more and more and deeper and deeper.  We don't 
make the decision but we convince them to be able to make their own 
decisions and to be able to find ways to approach.  The main thing is to 
let them generate their creativities.    
             Mostly, Burmese people wait for a call or an order from 
leaders.  In order to resist this situation under the SLORC, they should 
know that they have the power and they can make decisions and they can 
change by themselves if they all think critically and if they all find 
ways by themselves.  
             The majority of the people live in the remote areas of 
Burma.  They are also the people and the power.  Let's discuss with them 
first and then let's try to penetrate inside.  Please educate the people 
and empower the people.  Don't urge them what we want them to do but 
convince them what they think they should do.  If all people from Burma 
think critically about the problems (not to accuse someone or some 
groups but to find alternative ways and approaches to those ways), they 
will realize what should be done.  
              Empowerment is essential for the change in Burma and let's 
think which are the best ways to empower the people.
