A BURMESE FAMILY SAGA: WHITHER THE (r)

I do not think Gen. Khin Nyunt's action against his son has to do with
Buddhism. It has to do with his ethnicity. Khin Nyunt is a born Chinese. He
speaks with his mother in Chinese. I do not say he is a foreigner. Like Ne
Win he tries to hide his foreigness by acting cruel to his son who marries a
foreigner. He is trying to be a good son of the land. By his cruel treatment
to his son, he expects the love and admiration of his countrymen. let us
understand the fact behind the move.
