 50 Killed in KNU and DKBA Clash

At least 50 people were killed in Myanmar's eastern border area late 
Thursday night after anti-Yangon ethnic Karen rebels launched retaliatory 
strikes on pro-Yangon ethnic Karen troops, Thai border patrol police said 
Friday.
     About 150 Karen National Union (KNU) rebels launched simultaneous 
attacks against three camps of pro-Yangon Democratic Karen Buddhist Army 
(DKBA) troops situated on the border opposite Thailand's western province 
of Tak, police told reporters.
