Nonviolent action call

Dear Burmese Nonviolent soldiers around the world,

The Coordination Committee on Nonviolence (Association of Peoples of Asia)
requests you to lunch the second action on nonviolence on the birthday of
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, 19-6-98.

As decided, the people of Asia are requested to gather at public places
like religion and education centers on that evening. At sunset, 111
candles would be lit and group prayer service will be made. All have to
plead for "Peace, Justice and Nonviolence".

If you have secure communication with inside people, it would be very much
appreciated to convey this message and asking to do so simultaneously. All
radio stations are earnestly requested to cover the event as possible as
they can because radio is the single source of information for the people
inside Burma, Tibet and China.

In Delhi, Burmese and Tibetan activists will join with Indians to gather
at Raj Ghat (M. Gandhi's Ashram) at 6 p.m. to lunch the action plan on
19-6-98. Ms Nirmaladesh Pandey (Indian MP), Dr. Tint Swe (NLD MP) and CNAB
will lead the Delhi event. The Committee for Nonviolence Action in Burma
(CNAB) will organize the prayer services in Aizawl (Miroram) and Moreh
(Manipur).

In the morning of Daw Suu's birthday, the Women Rights and Welfare
Association of Burma (WRWAB) and pro-democracy groups will celebrate
"Burma Women's Day" at the Constitution Club. The Burmese women will also
stage a surprise demonstration in front of Burmese embassy on the same day
in Delhi.
