DHL lifts mail ban on Aung San Suu

After a two weeks campaign against DHL, the courier service has
decided to lift its ban on mail services to Aung San Suu Kyi.
DHL's import guidelines stipulated that "any shipments addressed to
Aung San Suu Kyi, No. 54 New University Ave, Yangon, Myanmar, and
all shipments with contents making reference to the above mentioned
individual are prohibited".G. Collette, Corporate Affairs Director said DHL
took this measure in order to guarantee the safety of couriers who were
intimidated by the junta.

As from August 3, DHL will delete the above stipulation from its service
directory and will accept any shipment to Aung San Suu Kyi.
