My name is Salai Yaw Aung, and I am a Central Committee member of
the All Burma Students' Democratic Front (ABSDF). My parents are
Daw Khin Soe Myint and U Saw Win (a.k.a. U Kyaw Zaw Lin ), a
National League for Democracy (NLD) Member of Parliament who died
in prison in August 1998. >>

Great Job Salai Yaw Aung,
We are very glad that another "Salai" entering into the arena. You got
to be Asho Chin too. Salai Tin Maung Oo was our great Asho Chin hero who gave
his life for the democracy right after U Thant's affairs. He was quite a great
"Salai" and your parents know him. Sorry to hear about your dad. Another Asho
Chin hero gave up his life again. He will be fully respected in Burma one day
along with our other fallen heros. Dog Kin Nyunt will pay the price fully.
If you still remember Asho Chin language, your name Yaw = Cool (Cold).
Your dad choosed you the best name of "Salai Cool and Victory". Ya the Man .
Asho Chin always give their name with meaning. On the other hand your parents
expected the best of Cool/Victory out of you. I am very sure you will live up
to their expectation.
