Friends,

A journalist has asked about some of the specifics of the sedan and the
van that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi used in her third and fourth attempts to
meet her supporters.  Does anyone have the specific makes and models, and
any other details on how the vehicles might have been prepared for a long
stay at a junta roadblock?

We know that on the third trip, the junta denied her access to food and
water, all the while claiming that they were providing same.  The junta
also claimed to have provided various things at the roadblock on the
fourth trip.  Have these claims been verified by anyone other than Col.
Hla Min's office?
