Now, more and more Southeast Asian people are voicing out against Mahathir 
esp in Thailand and Philippines and including their newspapers press 
editors. Mahathir is being equated as Marcos and Suharto.  Mahathir is very 
much isolated now ( a pariah) in the international 
and regional community. Even UN Secretary General, US Treasury secretary, 
World Bank President have now spoken out for Anwar Ibrahim. 

The world opinion and tide is now turning against Mahathir and is 
now watching his actions closely especially in view of the international APEC 
meeting in Kuala Lumpur in mid Nov. when the US President is also 
attending.   

Hopefully the dominos are falling (and the sooner the better with effort) 
within ASEAN :
After Suharto, then Mahathir and hopefully the Burmese military junta next.
