That means that the New Mon State Party
has become a protege of the SPDC. Does
Cease-fire mean giving up what the New
Mon State Party had been fighting for,
for many years the Self-determination of
the Mon people.  Is this the end of the
people of Mon as a distinct ethnic
group.  The cease-fire was then the
total subjugation of the Mon to the
Burman military or the colonialization
of the Mon by the Burman military.
