Rangoon - The discovery of fossilised primate remains in a
40-million-year-old rock could lead to a better understanding of when man
first appeared in Asia, members of a Burma-Japan team said yesterday. The
remains of the primates, consist ion of an upper jaw and teeth, were found
in the northwest. -AP
