Dear Fellow Burmese people

On behalf of 54000 members of East Japan Railway Workers' Union (JREU), =
I would like to urge you to stand firm until regaining of democracy and =
peace in your country.

We feel your pain as if it was ours. You have been long suffering from =
dictatorship and inhuman treatment, such as forced relocation. forced =
labor. and press-gagging. It must be very hard for you not to be =
defeated and lose heart. Still please be strong ad fight against the =
detested junta which is oppressing your country without any rational =
reason nor legal bases.

Such an undemocratic system and violation of human right should not last =
long. Workers and farmers and any human beings who sweat to build =
society should enjoy human right, freedom and prosperity. Society should =
not be for minority in power or dictator. Your cause will be surely =
rewarded because workers in many countries are with you.

We, Japanese, suffered severe consequences of dictatorship as well more =
than five decades ago during the WW2. When Japan was dominated by the =
military , and Japanses
people did not oppose well, the result was dreadful not only to =
Japanese people but also to other Asian people. Japan committed in =
humane war crimes in Asian countries including your country. It should =
not be repeated. Although JREU is fighting with civil right activists, I =
am afraid the Japanese governments is trying to become a big military =
power
again. We ourselves will fight in our place against this ominous sing.=20

Again, please be brave and overthrow the dictatorship. We will support =
you from the bottom of our heart. There is no night that has dawn. We =
are always on your side.
