Subject:	Words of Sympathy

Comrade Thein
We would like to register our heartfelt sympathy to comrade Aung San Suu Kyi
during this sad loss of her husband Micheal Aris.It is also very much
disgraceful to learn that the couple was denied opportunity to meet even
during Aris' illness. We condemn such an act as a gross violation of Human
Rights and it is very much disheartening to note that the authorities can be
so inhumaqn to deny an ill person the opportunity to see his loved one. Aung
San Suu Kyi's case is not even criminal by nature but she is a prisoner of
conscience.
Nontheless we like to urge comrade San Suu Kyi not to allow her poltical
personality to be affected by this incident but remain committed to her
agenda. We know how painful it is but we urge her to be strong and let it be
a pool of her strength instead of letting it be a setback in her political
endeavor. We forward our spiritual support to her.
Revolutionary yours
