Daw Aung San Suu Kyi birthday prayer meeting
On 54th anniversary of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi the Nobel Laureate and the
leader of NLD, Burma, a prayer meeting is scheduled to be held, at the
cemetery (The Rajghat) of Mahatama Gandhi, in a joint sponsorship of
Committee for Non-violent Action in Burma, and Asia People Association.
A gathering of about 150 people from different religion form India,
Burma and Tibet will take part in that prayer which will commence
according to different faith the Hindu, the Buddhist, the Islam and the
Christianity.
111 candles will be lit around as symbol, for good health long life,
and the success of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi in her struggle for Democracy
Peace and Justice in Burma.
