More delegates arrive to attend the 2nd ASEAN Ministrial Meeting


YANGON, 20 June-Delegates from ASEAN nations arrived here  today to attend
the 2nd ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on  Transnational Crime to be hosted by
Myanmar at Traders  Hotel from 21 to 23 June.


    The delegates are 11 from Thailand, Assistant 
Programme Officer Ms Dahlia P Sitoemeang of ASEAN 
Secretariat, five from Singapore, four from Brunei 
Darussalam, three from Malaysia, four from Indonesia, 
three from Vietnam, nine from the Philippines, three 
from Lao People' s Democratic Republic and two from 
Cambodia.


    They were welcomed by Deputy Director-General of 
Myanmar Police Force Police Brig-Gen Hla Tun, Ambassador  of Vietnam Mr
Nguyen Dang Khoa, Ambassador of the  Philippines Mrs Sonia C Brady and
officials of Embassies  of members of ASEAN nations.
