YANGON, 23 June-The opening ceremony of the Second ASEAN 
Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime hosted by Myanmar 
for the first time was held at Traders Hotel on Sule Pagoda 
Road at 9 am today with an address by Secretary-1 of the 
State Peace and Development Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt.


    Also present on the occasion were Minister for 
Industry-2 Maj-Gen Saw Lwin, Ministers at the State Peace 
and Development Council Chairman's Office Lt-Gen Min Thein 
and Brig-Gen Maung Maung, Chairman of Leading Committee for 
Hosting the Second ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational 
Crime Minister for Home Affairs Col Tin Hlaing, Minister for
