32 members resign from Yamethin Township NLD

YANGON, 18 July-Thirty-two members resigned from the National League for 
Democracy of Yamethin Township, Mandalay Division.


Thirty-two members of Yamethin Township NLD, Mandalay Division, of their own 
volition, resigned by sending letters of resignation to Township Multiparty 
Democracy General Election Commission and the party concerned on 21 January 
1999 as they no longer wished to participate in party politics of NLD. 

Myittha Township 

Similarly, 47 members of Myittha Township NLD, of their own volition, 
resigned by sending letters of resignation to Myittha Township Multiparty 
Democracy General Election Commission and the party concerned on 11 May 1999 
as they no longer wished to participate in party politics of NLD.
