Voters of Ngazan Township express no confidence in 
NLD representative-elect

YANGON, 29 July-Over 33,837 eligible voters of Ngazun Township Constituency, 
Sagaing Division, submitted signed declarations expressing no confidence in U 
Cho Hlaing who was elected as Pyithu Hluttaw Representative of National 
League for Democracy in the 1990 Multiparty Democracy General Election from 
Ngazun Township Constituency and no support for him at the rallies held at 
Kala Village, Thakyin Village and Suppya Village and Natkyi Village, 
Yaylethaung Village, Nganmya Village and Magyi Village in Ngazun Township on 
14 July morning.



Altogether 18,480 eligible voters or 60.15 per cent of Ngazun Township 
Constituency of Sagaing Division voted for U Cho Hlaing of NLD in 1990 
Multiparty Democracy General Election.


The number of voters who presented signed declarations expressing no 
confidence in U Cho Hlaing and no support for him totalled 33,837 or 110.13 
per cent.
