66 members resign from Myitkyina Township NLD

YANGON, 13 Aug? One hundred and sixty-six members from the National League 
for Democracy of Myitkyina Township, of their own volition, handed over 
resignations to Myitkyina Township Multiparty Democracy General Election 
Commission at Myitkyina Township Peace and Development Council Office on 30 
July  morning.


On behalf of 166 members of Myitkyina Township NLD, U Myint Lwin (a) U Maung 
Maung Gyi presented letters of resignation to Chairman of Township Multiparty 
Democracy General Election Sub-Commission U Aung Htut as they no longer 
wished to participate in party politics of NLD.
