320 members resign from Kyonpyaw Township NLD


 YANGON, 16 Sept - A ceremony  to present  letters
 of   resignation   of  320  members  of  Kyonpyaw
 Township National League for Democracy, Ayeyawady
 Division,  was held at the  Ayeyamin  Hall in the
 township at noon on 28 July 1999.  Three  hundred
 and twenty  members  of  Kyonpyaw  Township  NLD,
 Ayeyawady   Division,  of  their  own   volition,
 resigned by sending letters of resignation td the
 party concerned on 28 July 1999 as they no longer
 wished to participate  in party  politics of NLD.
 Member  of  Kyonpyaw  Township  NLD U Hla Tun, on
 behalf of the party members,  explained about the
 resignation  from the  party  and  presented  the
 letters of  resignation  to Chairman  of Township
 Multiparty     Democracy     General     Election
 Sub-Commission U Ba Hla
