Secretary-1 of the State Peace and Development
Council Lt-Gen Khin Nyunt received Director-General
Mr. Tomomitsu Iwakura of Foreign Affairs of Foreign
Policy Council of Japan Liberal Democratic Party and
party who called at his office at Dagon Yeiktha of the
Ministry of Defence on 21 September. The discussed
extended cultivation of buckwheat as opium substitute
crop for narcotic drug-elimination and regional
development in border areas.
