Crowds on holiday  seen at pagodas,  amusement
parks, recreation centres

YANGON, 26 Sept - The pagodas, recreation centres,
amusement  parks and  shopping  centres  in Yangon
were  crowded  with  devotees  and  holiday-makers
today as it was a Sunday, an office holiday.

Devotees, pilgrims and people visited Sacred Tooth
Relic  Pagoda  (Yangon)  to pray, to tell beads to
exercise  religious  contemplation and meditation,
to  offer  flowers  and to  make  donations.  Some
foreign  tourists  were  also  seen  visiting  the
pagodas in the course of their tours.  They toured
Kaba  Aye,  Koedatgyi,  Chaukhtatgyi,   Ngadatgyi,
Kyaikkhauk,  Kyauktan   Kyaikhmawwun  and  Mellamu
Pagodas and amusement parks.
