Senior General Concludes Inspection Tour of Bago, Magway, Sagaing and
Mandalay Divisions

MYANMAR INFORMATION COMMITTEE, YANGON

Chairman of the State Peace and Development Council
Senior General Than Shwe left Yangon by car along the
Pyay-Aunglan-Taungdwingyi-Magway motor-road for Magway
on 16 September. Senior General inspected cultivation
of paddy and other crops, forest and tree plantation,
greening of environs, motor road and bridges along the
road and also inspected water pumping project in
Magway. During the tour, he inspected the sites chosen
for the construction of Ayeyawady Bridges(Magway) and
(Mandalay), Yangon-Pyay-Aunglan-Magway road,
Minbu-Salin-Kyunchaung-Pakokku road,
Pakokku-Yesagyo-Chaung U road,
Monywa-Mandalay-Pyinmana-Toungoo-Yangon road. He also
inspected Pyinmana-Taungnyo-Taungdwingyi-Road Project.
Senior General arrived back Yangon by car on 25
September evening after inspection Bago, Magway,
Sagaing and Mandalay Divisions from 16 to 25
September.
