BBC Newsroom South  East stated this morning that the parents 
of Rachel Goldwyn have made progress in their negotiations
to free their daughter who was inspired to make a solo protest 
in Rangoon by the plight of refugees in Thailand

The BBC also reported that Rachel herself was in good spirits.

The London demonstrations to free all political prisoners and 
against the participation of Burma In the Syd 2000 Olympiad, 
which were planned for this month (before Rachel's arrest ) will 
take place on the 15th.
