Bo Myat Tun Bridge

Yangon and Pathein not far
At Nyaungdon is ferry crossing
The journey takes time there
Now it will be smooth going
The bridge permits throughfare
For faster access to destination

Along the river plying craft
Have to go under and look up
High-tech used by the builders
The longest bridge in Myanmar

Mon, Kayin and Bamar
Closed ranks in unity togeter
With Bo Myat Tun as leader
Put up defence with valour

White alien forces gathered
Used men and firepower
In dragnet around Danubyu
But in actions that ensued
Were shamefully worn out
Time and again put to rout
For Bo Myat Tun*s valour
Bridge named in his honour
