Tamadow actually means a collective of arm forces.
(tat-madaw)
Yaytat - Navy
Jaytat - Army

Could someone please clarify for me the meaning of the word Tatmdaw? Does
it mean armed forces (that is, the army, the navy, the air force, the
people's police force, and the people's militia) or does it simply refer
to the army?
Thanks
