  Burma Groups Celebrated the 52nd Anniversary of Independence at the
NCGUB office in Washington, D.C.  Groups ranging from the ABSDF to the
DBSO to the CRDB and BWU attended and spoke. The speeches were led by
the elected Prime Minister Doctor Sein Win.  Most speakers remember and
celebrate the anniversary yet continually comment that this can never be
a real celebration without peace and democracy.

  All are committed to a free and democratic Burma for the future.  Free
for all including the women of Burma.
