On the same day, KIA?s 11th battalion troops fired several RPG and mortar rounds on Burmese army?s 74th Light Infantry Battalion position between 3:30 am and 4:00 am. A KIA officer said it was neccesary to attack Burmese army?s positions as its troops have been attacking several KIA frontline posts and firing daily artillery shells on KIA?s positions and civilians? residential areas.
