"In March 2017, following the November and December 2016 remote emergency assessments, WFP in collaboration with the Food Security Information Network (FSIN) partners, conducted a food security assessment as part of the bi-annual Food Security Monitoring active in 110 Townships. Between 16 March and 10 April 2017, the monitoring system covered 450 households in 45 villages in Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships. The survey relied on a statistically representative township-level sample and it was designed to assess the food security and livelihood situation and give an indication of infant and young child feeding practices (See the Methodology section for additional details)..."
