"... At today?s session of Amyotha Hluttaw, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U
Paul Thang Thaing of Chin State Constituency- 3 said that the tourists are allowed to visit all 14
regions and states except Chin State in the nation. In Chin State, the tourists are allowed to visit
Kanpetlet only.
However, he requested to allow the tourists not only to Kanpetlet but also to Haka and other regions of
Chin State on their visits. As Chin State has less development with least income, the visits of tourists
will help increase income. He raised a question whether the plan will be set to allow tourists to visit
Chin State or not..."
