For service to Australian-Japanese relations, particularly in the 
field of Music.

	SIR IEREMIA TIENANG TABAI, GCMG, Suva Fiji.
For service to Australian-Pacific Islands Countries relations, 
particularly as Secretary-General to the South Pacific Forum.

	POLICE GENERAL CHAVALIT YODMANI, Bangkok, Thailand.
For service to Australian-Thai relations, particularly in the field 
of illicit drug law enforcement.

	THE LATE SISTER NICOLE MADELEINE CARDON, Formerly Malaysia.
For service to Australia and humanity, particularly to foreign 
prisoners held in Malaysian gaols.

	DR OLAVI KOIVUKANGAS, Turku, Finland.
For service to Australian-Finnish relations.

For service to the Australian wine industry.
